...has it been THIS long since I updated this thing? Wow, I suck...
There is noooooooo way I'll ever get caught up from February so I'll do my best...
This deployment has been totally different for me(us). Last deployment I was a hermit, this deployment I just try and keep busy the best we can...unfortunately though I had to put up with some stupid drama and totally lost my passion for scrapping but I'm hoping after getting my scraproom all nice and organized the passion will come back...I am actually getting an itch for it again...YAY ME!!!
Chris is home for his r&r, but these 18 days are going by waaaaaaaaay tooooooo fast :(
Wow, I don't even know where to begin...
For Spring Break we went to visit the in-laws. Chris's grandma got really sick again and her lung cancer spread to her colon, which they said was VERY unusual. I think she's doing really well consid

ering she just turned 90 last month.
Jacob turned 10, Hannah turned 6 and Cody turned 12
July was a fun month....of course, the 4th and I also went to Chicago for a VERY much needed break :)On Fort Stewart they had an Extreme Sports Demo...it was pretty cool...this is Insane Kane Friesen

and here's some of the others

Then of course I went to Chi Town and hung out with Fee and Gang for a few days...ok more like 10 :)

It was a great time and I had a lot of fun helping out at the store...although I think I may have been a bad influence but hey, it was a blast :)
Then we just kind of breezed through til now...when my baby came home for r&r after being deployed for over 9mths...YAY...
and then there was some new ink that we got :) yesterday, to be exact...mine is just a tribal with the kanji for always/forever in the center....I always tell Chris "always n forever" and even though I am still unaware of the proper kanji (got confused with all the different websites and one even said it was the same kanji for both words) that we just stuck "always"...
Chris's is a really nice one. A friend of his, Nathan Watts, drew the design for him. It's a soldier sitting on a bullet ridden brick wall looking down at the ground with an angel with one of her wings around him and her head on his knee weeping. This was his 8th tattoo and he said this one hurt the worse but he is soooo happy with it...the pics aren't the greatest, once the redness goes away hopefully I can get better pics, but it turned out really really nice...

but that's about it for now...it's only taken me about 4 hours just to type this :)
I'll upload more pictures later...
